A reminder that we are all journeying alongside each other. Each class will focus on the particular phase of the moon’s cycle and the astrology.

Yoga-Pilates

More Information

Yoga Pilates incorporates Yoga postures, flows and Pilates exercises. A class to improve core condition, improve general flexibility, all over strength, mobility and balance. This is a fun class for all levels that will keep you moving. I have been teaching for over ten years. I am an APPI mat based Pilates instructor and have a 200 hour Yoga certificate along with level 4 qualifications in the fitness industry.

Anna teaches a practice that is suitable for all levels. All postures can be modified and adapted to suit individuals who can transition from floor to standing and vice versa. Her classes are fun and relaxed. She will help you improve on strength, mobility and flexibility. Anna will always start and end the practice with time to be calm, quiet and focused. The whole practice will be mindful and encourage being present, helping with concentration and a little time out. Anna enjoys teaching postures and developing Vinyasas using breath with movement. A quietening of the minds can be joyful and restful as this movement works with you at your pace.

Anna has been in the fitness industry for nearly 15 years, including past work in rehabilitation with special populations and Spinning. She completed her 200hour Yoga locally ay the Cornwall Yoga Centre and is an APPI qualified mat based Pilates instructor. These are the areas where her main focus now lies. Anna believes that we can all bring Yoga into our lives. Yoga is for everyone. She feels passionate about everyone taking part in any activity that brings them improvement in health and happiness.

Join Elena for an hour of berthing exercises based on Buteyko Method followed by yoga stretches and relaxation.
Breathing exercises will focus on slow nasal breathing and relaxation. You will learn how to rebalance your body.
The ancient wisdom of breath is now becoming a mainstream practice that many turn to for the increase of energy, better sleep, fitness, general wellbeing and even to heal emotional traumas or go on spiritual quests. Simply ‘finding’ your breath, understanding how it works and how you can tune into it, can be a huge factor in changing your overall experience of daily life.

Little Stars Parent & Toddler Class

More Information

Little Stars is a parent and child class for pre-schoolers. Each week will have a fun theme and we will be creative, play, listen to stories, move, stretch and relax. 

We will explore healthy coping strategies such as mindfulness, breathing techniques, mindset positivity and personal strengths, which can be learnt and practiced at home once the session is over. It’s never too early to start to learn, practice and see these important life skills being modelled. 

Your child will have so much fun while engaging in activities that will aid both physical and emotional development. 

Suitable for children aged between 2 -5 years old. Children are welcome to bring their own blankets and cushions for the relaxation part. Please remember to bring a bottle of water.

I started practicing yoga in 2014.  I completed my 200hr YTT at the tranquil yoga haven of Suryalila, nestled in the beautiful Andalusian countryside. 

I first came to yoga from a place of no exercise! I found the poses not only accessible but also intriguing because everyone looked slightly different in their version.  There were plenty of alignment cues but the most prominent one of all, do what feels right for your body.  This wasn’t about forcing the body into some aspiring shape, it was about being kind to the body.  Judgment was left at the door.

Through my teacher training with Body Control Pilates I became particularly interested in how Pilates can improve an individual’s performance – whether that be in sport, dance, circus or in our everyday working and leisure activities. The practice of Pilates encourages the body to move the way it was designed to move – the most efficient way possible – helping to develop a strong, balanced body. This is so important in the prevention of injuries as well as avoiding those everyday aches and pains that are so common.

The focus in my classes is on finding this sense of balance within the body , we do this by working on restoring good alignment through our movement, awakening the deep muscles within the body, and developing core strength to improve our stability and posture.

People from all levels of ability can benefit from Pilates, there are variations and modifications for every exercise so don’t be put off if you have never done anything like it before.

Core Conditioning is a fun, friendly and energising 60 minute total body fitness class. A blend of strengthening and toning exercises from Yoga, Pilates and core fitness to shape, sculpt and tone the muscles with a guided stretch and relaxation to finish.
 
Alicia is a registered fitness instructor and yoga teacher with over a decade of experience in the industry. Her teaching style is to steadily guide, support and motivate so you’ll get the most from exercise and have fun whilst improving fitness and health. Her classes are suitable for all levels of fitness. 
 
Alicia has designed this class with her favourite combination of moving to music with exercises designed to strengthen and tone core muscle groups, improve balance and coordination and increase flexibility resulting in a fun, energising and strengthening whole body work out.
 
You will need to bring a mat and wear clothes that are suitable for moving/supportive trainers.
